I’m so excited! This is my favorite time of the year. I get to be in the parade I feel like a star.
Be sure to bring a hat, mittens and maybe a scarf if it’s cold out and join us along Main Street Friday (Feb. 17th) night. The parade starts at 7:00pm so you may want to get there a bit early to find “the BEST place” to watch all the floats as they go by.

Thirty exotic animals from Zoo to You will be on display at the Penetanguishene Centennial Museum on Saturday, February 18th from 11:00pm – 3:00pm. Whether you like cute and cuddly or scary and slimy there is something for everybody. Experienced handlers will bring the animals out of their secure temporary enclosures on a rotation to allow the guests to interact and be educated at the same time.
Admission: $5.00 family (up to 4 people), $3.00 per person
or FREE with presentation of a 2012 Winterama button

I was in visiting the staff at the Knights Haven Lanes. I had never seen a Glow in the Dark bowling so they turned the lights off just for me. It was too cool I glowed everywhere. . .cause I’m white. . .ha ha ha. I had a bit of a hard time holding the ball because it kept sliding of my fur. Oh well maybe this is one activity I just have some fun watching

Well as a snow “person” I don’t have a difficult time on the snow but every little trick I learn can’t hurt right!
So join me in Penetanguishene Rotary Park on Saturday, February 18th from 12:00pm – 2:00pm. See how well you can maneuver on snowshoes and even try a couple of challenge competitions organized by Wye Marsh Wildlife Centre.
You never know when those skills will come in handy
Wow. . . . I’m just had a ton of fun out in the new snow making snow angels . So does this mean everyone will be participating in the snowman competition during Winterama. It’s easy! Grab a few boxes (one large box for the base, one medium box for the middle and one small box for the head), pack the snow in the boxes spritzing a bit of water on the snow to help it settle. Let the boxes sit for 1 to 2 days. Check to ensure the snow has harded then remove the cardboard and place the pieces in order. Then make a snowman that is unique to you and your family. I can’t wait to see the creativity all over Town.

Where’s the snow????? Oh well I can’t wait until Winterama weekend. Willy and I have been making some friends with the media but I can’t wait to see everyone in the community again.
Come out to the Willy and Milly Public Skate at the Penetanguishene Memorial Community Centre on Friday, February 17th from 6:00pm – 7:20pm or Sunday, February 19th from 6:45pm – 7:45pm.
